Uttarakhand, 27th June, 2016: Youth4work is a ‘People Platform’ which empowers youth to assess themselves, improve their talents and showcase themselves is taking the dream of our PM Narendra Modi ji to newer heights. With millions of students aspiring to represent India on global platforms via skills, Youth4work ensures students hailing from rural areas to be able to learn and improve the most out of this PMKVY scheme.
Based on QPNOS (Qualification Packs National Occupational Standards), the online practice tests designed at Youth4work’s platform for 500+ job-roles, certification assessments under 27 Sector Skill Councils are provided to the certified training partners of NSDC. These Practice tests are beneficial not just for the students but to the training institutes enrolled under NSDC as they help the students of these training partners benefit with higher passing rate in exams. Above all, the practice tests designed at the platform also help training partners & students get access to employers.
“There is no dearth about talent in the country. But, still deserving talents fail to get employed. PMKVY aims to leverage the potential of India’s demographic dividend by providing skill-training and making every skilled youth employable,” informed Mr. Rachit Jain, Founder & CEO, Youth4work.
In a short span, Practice tests designed by Youth4work for PMKVY have been attempted by 18,000+ students across 300+ cities/towns. Moreover, 1,50,000 questions till date have been attempted at Youth4work’s own platform which strives to polish the skills of youth and get them employed thereon.
“The insights provided by Youth4work say that the NSDC has provided clear syllabus guidelines under QPNOS according to which training partners teach the students but face challenges with respect to offering them sample test papers. In a scenario like this, these practice tests prove to be highly useful for the students provided the fact that these tests are directly accessible to them via web and smart phones,” added Mr. Jain.
Under PMKVY, candidates will be eligible for a monetary reward plus job support, upon successful completion of their training. Moreover the candidates will also receive a government recognized certificate which helps them become gainfully employed.
